BIBLES
We encourage everyone to read the bible – it is a book of teaching, instruction, narrative (story) and wisdom, inspired by the Holy Spirit, written down by men and preserved by God for our benefit. We use the King James Version (KJV) in worship, accepting this as a faithful translation from original texts A copy of the bible can be found at:
PSALMS
As noted in the What to Expect page, we use the 1650 Scottish Psalter – Psalms of David in Metre during worship. These are the psalms of the bible arranged in a metrical form so that they can be sung, just as they were designed to be. Links to useful Psalm websites an apps are:
