About Our Church

The Evangelical Presbyterian Church is a denomination with congregations in Eastern Australia.  Our Brisbane Congregation worships together every Sunday in Mount Ommaney which is a Centenary Suburb in the South West of Brisbane.  You can read more about the Evangelical Presbyterian Church as a denomination here.

At the Evangelical Presbyterian Church we aim to be a warm community of people that worship, serve, and make known the name of God through the preaching of Jesus Christ from the Bible, and living out our faith in daily life.

Our worship is simple and uncluttered.  It includes prayer, reading the Bible, preaching (from the Bible), the singing of psalms, and sacraments (a few times a year). We aim for clear, practical Bible teaching which leads us to Christ. We are a church that's Evangelical and Presbyterian.  The doctrines to which our church holds are summarised in the Westminster Confession of Faith along with the Larger and Short Catechisms.

We cherish our diversity as people, and our unity in Christ, meeting together as a whole group, young and old. We seek to look out for each other and support each other in all the problems and blessings that we face in life.

We are not perfect; we are all sinners. But we look to Christ for forgiveness!

If you come along you'll find Bibles and Psalm books at the door for you to use.  But if you'd prefer you can easily download a copy of the King James Version of the bible onto your phone or tablet.  For the psalms you can download an app for your phone:

For android here.

For iPhone here.

Currently we do not own our own building.  Our church currently rents a hall from the Mount Ommaney Special School based at 94 Capitol Drive.  On site there is plenty of parking and the hall in which we meet is wheelchair accessible.
